MAHA BAND was originally known as
the group called Acts band. With four ladies and one male. The group consisted
of three ladies from the rhythm section such as bass, keyboardist and lead
guitarist. one male as drummer and one female vocalist. they started
making waves in some bars and hotels in their own country, Phillippines and some
cities of asia and middle east for six years, before they were given a chance
to record their own Album, on the year 2000..Their debut album was recorded @
Alpha records under the management of Genross records and was distributed by
Ivory records. Later,some members seemed like longing to follow their
hearts,establishing a kind of life that suited their needs.Other members
retained their musical career,eventually forming a duo and trio, still leading by Menchie, the founder. And their musical arranger is the lead guitarist, Claire Gumban. They call themselves "MAHA"- Menchie And Her Acts.
Occassionally, they sometimes add members, depending on the contract or
assignment, thus they are called MAHA BAND. Just open their PROFILE to know
